The ease and fun of making your own soaps has been given the “spa” treatment; encompassing aromatherapy, exfoliation and skin care. Now, the same kind of premium-priced, cosmetic-grade soaps found in department and specialty stores can be created at home at a fraction of the cost. The new products feature soap bases, colors, fragrances and herbal additives, all derived from nature.
“So many people asked us to do a line of nature-based soapcrafting products that we started researching what would go into the ideal line. Through research and a lot of testing, we really got it right!”, stated Carole Krinsky, VP Marketing for Life of the Party.
The line begins with the exclusive suspension formula soap bases, available in Olive Oil or Avocado Cucumber. This special formula means that when your choice of natural herbal additives (also part of the line) are added to the soap they will remain suspended, providing a wonderful exfoliating quality throughout the soap. You can also blend in your choice from a range of six natural colors and aromatherapy fragrances further enhancing the aromatherapeutic value of the finished soaps. As with the Life of the Party’s popular Essentials line, there are many molds to choose from to suit your personal taste and needs. There is even a kit that allows you to make a loaf that includes a natural loofah right inside the soap. After unmolding, simply slice the loaf into bars and each one will have the gentle scrubbing action of loofah built in!
